The Miraculous Nature of the Qur’an

A Different Perspective on Its Unmatched Power

When I first began studying the Qur’an, I was struck by how its I’jaz and divine depth felt truly inimitable. As a teacher working with Muslims from different backgrounds through Our Courses—some joining on a Free trail before committing to a Monthly fee—I saw how its eloquence, scientific hints, and remarkable accuracy drew people in. Even the absence of contradictions, its foreknowledge of events, and the ongoing challenge to produce anything similar remain unmet. Its linguistic richness, structure, rhetorical flow, and sheer beauty surpass what even the most gifted poets and writers could imagine. The revelation speaks about the natural world, including undiscovered realities; it corrects errors, reveals the unseen, and points toward the future with a voice that feels preservation-driven and divinely protected. Its universal message has shaped prophets, guided miracle-seekers, challenged with Tahaddi, silenced disbelievers, and left every potential rival reconsidering their belief. Its Speech and kalām connect the heart to God, and knowing it is preserved, unmatched, and free from human authorship—not even by Muhammad, who received it through Jibrīl/Gabriel—pulls all of humanity into something truly miraculous.

Over the years, I developed a deep respect for how its internal categories, cohesion, and harmony come alive through the Arabic language and its layered rhetoric. The early Arabs, masters of expression, wisdom, and oration, even with their gift for improvisation, admitted its perfection—its balance of praise and condemnation reshaped entire societies. Every Messenger came with signs, yet the truthfulness of this message reached across generations, from Moosa and Eesa to the Seal of prophethood, whose message promised Resurrection and moral awakening for jinn and mankind alike. The Holy words, its Soorahs, its protection from being forged, and the testimony of witnesses stand as warnings against the Fire and Hell for rejectors. Even among billions, no scholars, composition experts, nations, or thinkers exploring the Cave narrative or stories of Dhu’l-Qarnayn have matched its precision in promises, its clarity on Islam, or its exposure of the Mushrikoon. Each time I teach it, I am reminded that no matter how diverse the learners are, the Qur’an remains the one voice that understands every heart before the heart even understands itself.
