Miracles Of The Last Prophet Muhammad صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ

Understanding Miracles as Living Signs

As a student and teacher of Islamic history, I have always felt that the Miracle and miracles of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, the Beloved Rasool, Rasoolullah, Nabi, and Mustafa are not distant tales but living signs meant to guide hearts and minds. These miraculous events connect faith with everyday reality and strengthen belief across generations.

The Night Journey and Ascension

The events of Miraaj, Ascension, Mi’raaj, Mi’raaj-e-Mustafa, Isra, and Mi’raj describe a sacred Night Journey beyond human limits. This journey passed through the heavens, across the seven skies, Kursi, and Arsh, showing the honor given to the Prophet by Allah Almighty, God, the Almighty, the All-Hearing, and the All-Seeing.

Sacred Route of the Journey

This journey began from Masjid al-Haram, Masjid-ul-Haraam, the Kaaba in Makkah, Mecca, and reached Masjid Aqsa, Masjid-ul-Aqsa, Masjid al-Aqsa in Jerusalem. Traveling on Buraaq, from the house of Umm-e-Haani, it occurred before the migration, Hijrah, in 621, during the 11th year of Nubuwwah, on 27th Rajab, Monday night, with a complete return back before sunset.

The Splitting of the Moon

Among the most powerful signs was the splitting of the moon into halves and pieces above Mount Abu Qubays. Though the Meccans dismissed it as illusion, magic, or sihr, it remained a clear indication, a Muʿjiza, and mu’jizah proving Prophethood.

Physical Signs of Prophethood

The Seal on the shoulders of the Holy Prophet, described like a pigeon’s egg of reddish flesh, with no shadow and full of light, further confirmed his status. These signs were experienced through seeing, hearing, and the eyes, while Kalam was conveyed directly.

The Quran as the Everlasting Miracle

The Quran, Qur’an, and Holy Quran remain the greatest miracle. Every āyah, Ayah, Ayahs, written in Arabic آية آيات, including Aamana-rasool, Surah Al-Qamar, Al Qamar, Surah Al-Kawsar, Surah Al-Baqarah, Surah Ad-Duha, and Surah Alam-Nashrah, reflect I’jaz, inimitability, perfection, and undeniable proof.

Knowledge, Science, and Divine Wisdom

Verses such as 53:1-2 and Q7:157 speak of the Day, Judgment, and Last Day, while also inspiring reflection on science, scientific discoveries, physics, biology, evolution, geology, mountains, the universe, research, and divinity. This harmony shows the wisdom, Hakeem nature, and unmatched intellect of the wisest and best of all creation.

Daily Miracles of Mercy

Miracles were not limited to grand signs. Through prayers, dua, and their acceptance, the Beloved Rasool demonstrated mercy and care for the Ummah. His intercession on the Judgement Day opens doors without terror, marked by determination and constancy.

Provision, Healing, and Compassion

Food and water flowed from his fingers like springs, ending thirst, filling pots and vessels, turning shortage into abundance, leaving leftovers, fair distribution, and full sufficiency. He cured the blind, healed the ill, restored eyesight with spittle and saliva, and even brought the dead back to life, calling them from the grave.

Recorded History and Witnesses

These miracles are preserved in Hadith, Ahadees, Sahih Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, and Musnad Ahmad, and witnessed in events such as Badr, Uhud, Hunain, Khaybar, Tabuk, Tabouk, Hudaybiyyah, and Hudaibiya, alongside companions like Abu Bakr, Ali, Hazrat Ali, Ibn Abbas, Anas bin Malik, Jabir Abdullah, and Abu Talha.

Living Faith and Learning

Discussed by scholars including Denis Gril, Asad, Cyril Glasse, and Marcia Hermansen, and upheld by Sunni and Shi’ism traditions, these miracles continue to shape Islam—from illumination to darkness. This understanding influences how I design Our Courses, keep a fair Monthly fee, and offer a Free trail, because these miracles are not legends of the past but a living source of guidance today.
